Delete your Gleanling account

This page is for Gleanling: Story Keeper, by Tommy Brunswick. A parent can delete the family’s account, and everything in it, at any time.

In the app

  1. Open Gleanling and tap Grown-ups.
  2. Answer the grown-up question.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

You can also delete a single story, picture, word or child there, without deleting the account. Please download everything first if you’d like to keep a copy.

By email

Can’t open the app? Write to hello@gleanling.com from the email address you signed up with, and we’ll delete the account within 30 days and let you know when it’s done.

What gets deleted

Everything: the parent’s email and sign-in, each child’s name, and every telling, story, storybook, picture, reading, starred sentence, made-up word and report. It’s removed from our database for good, straight away, and nothing is kept afterwards.

A plan bought through the App Store is managed in your Apple ID settings. Deleting the account doesn’t cancel it, so please cancel it there too.
